Grievance escalation levels

If a grievance or complaint is not resolved through initial contact, you may escalate as below. This matrix is illustrative for an individual research analyst setup; regulatory requirements prevail. For full process and timelines, see grievance redressal.

When escalating, include prior correspondence references, dates, and a concise summary of the outstanding issue.

Always verify SEBI registration on the SEBI official website before dealing with any intermediary.

Do's

  • Always deal with a SEBI-registered research analyst.
  • Ensure that the research analyst has a valid registration certificate.
  • Check for the SEBI registration number.
  • Refer to the list of all SEBI-registered research analysts on the SEBI website (link above), and cross-check details for Yagnesh Purri INH000025461.
  • Always pay attention to disclosures made in research reports before investing.
  • Pay your research analyst through banking channels only and maintain signed receipts. You may also pay through the Centralised Fee Collection Mechanism (CeFCoM) of RAASB if the RA has opted for it.
  • Check research recommendations before buying or selling securities or applying for public offers.
  • Ask questions and clear doubts with your research analyst before acting on recommendations.
  • Seek guidance especially for complex and high-risk financial products.
  • You have the right to stop availing services as per agreed terms.
  • You have the right to provide service feedback.
  • You are not bound by any clause that violates regulatory provisions.
  • Inform SEBI if any research analyst offers assured or guaranteed returns.

Don'ts

  • Do not provide funds for investment to the research analyst.
  • Do not fall prey to misleading advertisements or market rumours.
  • Do not get attracted to limited-period discounts, incentives, or gifts.
  • Do not share trading, demat, or banking login credentials with the research analyst.
